Four weeks into the 2026 season, The Mud Bowl League is taking shape around two undeniable facts: Cold Brew Crew sits atop the standings at 2–1, and The Regrettables are breathing down their neck, also 2–1.
Points For and Defensive Gaps
Cold Brew Crew's 363 points for leads the league—a decisive margin in a sport where volume often equals destiny. But The Regrettables' 345 points sit closer than the standings suggest, and their 323 points against (best in the league) speaks to a structural advantage: they bend without breaking.
The Crowded Middle
Below the leaders, the middle mass moves. Basement Champs, The Audible, The Front Office, and Hot Route Holliday all hold 2–1 records but live on thinner margins. One brutal week flips the narrative; one scorching week launches a dark horse.
The league's floor is collapsing—Two Beers Deep limps at 1–2 with just 288 points. That gap, from top to bottom, is 75 points of pure separation. The early story is not yet written. It is still being fought for.
